State, Local, and Education (SLED)

ICP has been a major provider of IT products and services to the City and State of New York for nearly 25 years. One of the major projects that became a springboard for us: our ground-breaking solution for a school-based budgeting system required by the New York City Department of Education. The scope of work included architecting, design, development, and implementation; integration with other “cornerstone” applications within the Department; and providing updates and support. Our solution remains in use to the present day, facilitating the operation of more than 1,600 schools and district offices.

Since then, ICP has or continues to be engaged by most major City agencies — both directly and as subcontractor for a growing list of IT leaders serving the City and State as suppliers and partners. We are seen as a “go to” resource because of our experience, technical expertise, local facilities and resources, and our proven ability to perform and execute. In addition, ICP has responded to the City’s needs at all times, regardless of the conditions or requirements, as most recently demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic.)

We are also the preferred subcontractor for several of the industry’s largest global service providers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s). ICP’s responsibilities range from “standard” day-to-day business to national projects, where we fulfill pivotal roles on many of these clients’ most challenging projects.

Our commercial clients rely on ICP with confidence, knowing that:
• We provide expertise in multiple key areas, such as supply chain and lifecycle management, deployment, network and engineering services, application development, dedicated on-site support, remote services, and project management.

• ICP can provide qualified resources nationwide as needed. We have ongoing relationships with strategic national IT service organizations as well as specialized partners and recruiters. In all cases, we follow a stringent hiring process, ensuring the right technical and professional fit for each individual engagement.
